In 2005, NAIB’S Time Deposits Placed increased to USD 76 597 thousand ;registering an increase of USD 21 383 thousand as compared to 2004  .However, Time Deposits Taken decreased to USD 75 076 thousand in 2005 ; a decrease of USD 8 953 thousand compared with the previous year.Therefore, and for the first time since 2003, Time Deposits Placed exceeded Time Deposits Taken by USD 1 521 thousand ; while they were USD 28 815thousand lower than Time Deposits Taken as at 31/12/2004.
